Media visibility and board gender diversity

Despite the efforts of governments and market regulators, under-representation women on corporate boards continues to be a global concern. In this context, study extends prior literature by investigating relationship between media visibility gender diversity directors. We examine sample 101 Spanish nonfinancial listed firms over period 2003–2016. find that positively affects board diversity.
